The tyres of several cars parked in Woodford Halse were damaged in the early hours of Sunday morning (December 6).
The wing mirrors of some of the vehicles were also damaged and paintwork was scratched. A number of charcoal briquettes were also set alight and left around the street.
The damage was caused to about 20 cars which were parked in Station Court and surrounding streets and happened sometime between 1am and 1.20am.
The offender is described as a white man, about 5ft 6in, with a slim build, bald and clean shaven. He was wearing dark jeans, a checked shirt and a long-sleeved navy jumper.
Officers were on patrol in the village throughout the day on Sunday. They are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about who committed these offences.
They would also like to hear from anyone who may have noticed damage to their vehicle over the weekend but has not yet reported it to the police.
