HIGH winds across Northamptonshire are causing disruption on the county’s roads, with many affected by fallen trees and branches.
Thankfully there have so far been no serious incidents reported as a result of the weather conditions.
Police have dealt with approximately 30 incidents of trees blocking roads this morning.
Officers are attending as many incidents as they can to cone off affected areas and the street doctor service is removing fallen trees as quickly as possible.
Police are encouraging road users to be cautious of the road ahead in these conditions and to drive carefully and more slowly, particularly on country roads.
