Golfers in Daventry have been in full swing to help a life-saving charity.
Members of Daventry & District Golf Society presented £500 to the air ambulance after raising money throughout the year.
They also presented £500 to the Anthony Nolan Trust.
The money was presented by secretary Nigel Smith to Russell Watson and his wife, who has received a transplant because of the trust.
The money for both charities was raised by running quizzes at the club.
Kevin Tarbox, current captain of Daventry Golf Club, said: “I’d like to thank all the people that helped raise the money and John Hunter and his wife Jane; Gill Leppard and her husband Mick who helped run the quizzes.”
A further £950 was raised to refurbish the Barret Bar.
