Watch the world’s most famous train the Flying Scotsman as it thunders through Bedfordshire.
Train enthusiasts gathered on platforms at Biggleswade and Sandy on the York to London line to watch as the newly-refurbished Flying Scotsman thundered past earlier this afternoon.
The steam engine, pulling a couple of vintage carriages, made its high-speed run down to Kings Cross from the National Railway Museum, where it has undergone a 10-year, multimillion pound restoration.
The distinctive engine passed through at around 3.09pm before making it to Biggleswade three minutes later.
If you missed the Flying Scotsman fear not, there will be another chance to see it on the return journey tomorrow (Thursday) morning at around 8.35am at Biggleswade and 8.38am at Sandy.
