POLICE have said a man who approached three William Parker School pupils this morning (Wednesday) was a supply teacher asking for directions.
The school was asking parents and pupils to be vigilant after they thought an unknown man had approached three year eight boys and offered them a lift after telling them he worked at the school.
The school had earlier said the man does work for them and they do not know who he is.
But Northamptonshire Police said the man is in fact a supply teacher at the school who was asking the boys for directions to William Parker.
