A number of unusual items including a taxidermied stuffed sheep and a wicker chair in the shape of an elephant were stolen during a burglary from a summer house, in the grounds of Winwick Hall, Winwick.
Sometime between 15 and 29 June, offenders have entered the summer house and stolen the sheep, chair, four Persian rugs sized 6ft by 3ft and 8ft by 4ft, three dining chairs with black leather seats, four spindle-back rush-seat chairs, a rowing oar, Denon DVD player and speakers, a Red Bull drinks chiller fridge, 48 bottles of Brigade Port, four boxes of red and white wine (containing 12 bottles in each), 24 lots of 10 bottle boxes of Budweiser beer and other miscellaneous items.
