Residents from Daventry’s Grange estate will be holding their latest community clean-up event on Saturday.
Volunteers will be meeting at The Pike and Eel at 10am and Daventry District Council will be providing litter-picking equipment.
This will be the sixth event of its kind and one of the areas that will be tackled is Tamar Square.
Jacquie Ward, one of the organisers, said: “We would like to tackle Tamar Square which has become a little neglected due to British Gas digging up there these past few months.
“Tamar is the heart of our estate and receives many visitors so it would be nice if it looked good for both residents and visitors.”
People who are unable to take part on the day are being asked to clear the verge and path where they live and submit ‘before and after’ pictures to the yourgrange.co.uk website.
