Great Central Plastics has undergone a factory redesign following an audit tracking the movement of goods in and out of its factory in Woodford Halse.
The firm, which specialises in plastic injection moulded products for the marketing and automotive industry, turned to the Manufacturing Advisory Service to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
The result was a “cube” design which included the installation of new racking and a new “reach” fork lift truck.
Tony Phillips, MD of Great Central Plastics, said: “This project has certainly improved our working practices and given the business a whole new feel and enthusiasm.”
