A motorcycle passenger was airlifted to hospital yesterday afternoon (Sunday) following a road traffic collision in Braunston,
Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) were called out to the incident to provide a swift transfer to the nearest major trauma centre. They received the call at around 4:34pm and landed at the scene 10 minutes later.
The patient, a 54-year old woman, sustained head injuries after the vehicle rolled over. She was treated at the scene by the crew before being immobilised and airlifted to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.
The crew arrived at the hospital at 5:18pm.
The rider was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service. The current condition of both patients is unknown.
