Two consultation events to discuss the proposed changes to the use of Longlands Specialist Care Unit will take place this month.
Northamptonshire County Council and Shaw Healthcare are considering changing the use of Longlands from a rehabilitation and respite-care centre to a service delivering long-term care for older people.
The County Council say the impact of any such change on those people who use the centre for respite-care needs and the transfer of the rehabilitation service need to be discussed openly and are therefore seeking opinions and views.
The two consultations will take place on Friday August 9 from 10am until 11.30am at Brackley Town Hall and on Tuesday August 12 from 2pm until 3.30pm in Towcester Town Hall.
